Welcome Our Newest Athlete: Bree Walker

Bree Walker OLY, Australia’s #1 Bobsleigh Athlete, is redefining what's possible in her sport. Coming from a country not known for winter sports, she's consistently ranked among the world's top 5 competitors and recently achieved an incredible 4th place finish in the 2023 World Championships.

Bree's journey to becoming an Olympian is nothing short of remarkable. Born in Melbourne with a background in athletics, she noticed that Australia's bobsled team had gone inactive. Undeterred, she met the qualification standards for the 2018 Winter Olympics, but her federation didn't nominate her to compete. Instead of giving up, she used this setback as motivation to become one of the world's fastest bobsledders in just four years.

Her Olympic debut in 2022 secured a historic 5th place finish for Australia and showcased her potential as a true medal contender. The 2023 World Championships saw her narrowly miss a medal by two-tenths of a second, setting the stage for an exciting journey to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games!
